Chato quando a gente passa por situações que não somos acreditados. Chato quando aos 46 anos dos quais 20 a trabalho em favor da advocacia somos respondidos em voz alta e sarcasmo.
Pior ainda quando isto ocorre em outro país. Acabei de passar por uma situação muito desagradável, desnecessária e rude. Ao final recebi algumas horas de permanência aqui. E isso não tem problema, e sim a forma mal educada, dúbia, estupida pela qual isso aconteceu.
Bem, se uma coisa a vida na advocacia me deu foi o poder de absorver como uma esponja e responder como uma catarata a agressão. E sim, fui agredido. Daí porque chamei o consulado brasileiro no e-mail.
Quando a gente abaixa a cabeça para o que é certo e verdadeiro, a banalização e a escuridão tomam conta. Melhor seria se abaixasse a cabeça para isso? Engolisse a seco esse abuso?
Não da. O mundo evoluiu ao ponto que esses fatos não podem passar despercebidos. Se antes um povo brigava pela honra, se vivi a evolução da máquina de escrever ao iPhone, se tudo esta a palma da mão, a constatação do que vivi hoje não pode deixar de existir.
A posteridade vai cuidar dessa funcionária e desse país que de fato não recebe bem aquele turista de uma noite por conta da conexão de seu voo. Acabou que me dei de presente uma passagem executiva pela pior companhia que existe, a British Airlines.
Não só fiquei enjoado na ida, pois o assento central é virado para o fim da aeronave, viajei de costa, como agora na conexão de 13 hs imaginei que teria alguma tranquilidade para ir no sofitel e tomar banho, descansar e jantar.
Nada disso, melhor ir de TAP, Air France, KLM, melhor ficar longe daqui mesmo.

I would like to make a Former Complaint to the border control officer who attended me today, friday 11th at around 21 hs.
If politeness is expected from everyone that is attended to at the border, i expect the same way from your officer.
And it simply did not happen.
Let me just say this has been the worse experience I have ever had, needless to say I will have this negative attitude registered for my life.
I bought a round trip to Portugal using British Airline Executive Class that had a fantastic fare. When I purchased my ticket using the Brazilian App decolar.com from JAN 26 to FEB 12 i assumed the return flight would happen in the same way as the incoming flight.
Stop over London for a short wait untill the next flight. I was in a rush for my birthday. Luckily the connecting inbound flight on January was not long enough for me to stop by a hotel and I got by the executive lounge and arrived in Portugal at time of my birthday.
Unfortunately when asked by the border officer why was I here and I responded that unfortunately I had a 14 hour wait she did not believe me.
And the sarcasm begun.
She asked out loud her fellowemployees if the flight was late. And I had to correct her, of course not. This is not about a late flight, this is about a 13 hour passenger wait.
And being a 46 year old, lawyer for 20+ years, I am entitled to enter the country and to be treated with respect, not sarcasm, to have my word accounted for and not taken in disbelief. Who is she not to believe what is honest and the truth?!?!
I was loudly said that I was going to be given a day to leave the country.
If I was not tired enough this would not be necessary.
People from this country should not treat foreign with such disrespect. Nor do we Brazilians need to be disacounted for. I really had no control of BA business schedule trips or a trip bought by APP, but needless to say I will look foward to KLM and AirFrance. Those companies and its country are much better then yours. Have been there always on vacation never had any distress.
I will also take this matter to the brazilian consulate that is being copied on thie email because I feel that such people should really not work. Unfortunately this officer is not suitable for a work as this, shameful.
I will enclose my travel summary, schedule and my 5 star hotel at portugal and car rental. Thankfully I earn enough all my life to travel everywhere else in the world.
This has been a great problem. Hope it improove the way this person attended. At the end of the night it is 23 o clock, if you only knew how badly this impacted me I do not even wish to have dinner. Neither because it took too long, no room service and I do not wish to wonder around a city after this reception.
Best of luck, will never look at England, its history, people and products with pride again.
